various applications including solid-liquid mixing, liquid-liquid mixing,
and solid suspension.
Our expert team precisely designs agitators as per process requirements,
selecting impeller types based on fluid properties, determining optimum
agitator speed according to reactor and impeller geometry, and evaluating
other mechanical aspects.
We have supplied reactors and agitators to industries like chemicals,
specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paints, distilleries, and resins,
across a wide range of materials, operating temperatures, and pressures.
We manufacture Reactors in: SS 304, SS 316, 316L Duplex,

GMP Reactors
Starchem also designs and manufactures GMP Reactors with single or double
limpet coil jackets, along with insulation material. Vessels are provided
with internal finishes up to Ra and electro-polished surfaces.
Types of Agitators
- Hydrofoil Impeller: Recommended for low to medium
viscosity applications involving mixing, blending, and solid suspension.
Requires less power compared to conventional pitched blade turbines.
- High Solidity Hydrofoil: Modified version of the
conventional hydrofoil impeller, recommended for better gas dispersion
and solid suspension applications.
- Pitched Blade Turbine: Widely used impeller across
different segments, recommended for low to medium viscosity
applications.
- Anchor Impeller: Recommended for high viscosity
applications, generates radial flow patterns.
- Crowl Disc Impeller: Recommended for high shear
applications. This saw-tooth impeller provides high shear and is
commonly used in high-speed dispersers.
- Curved Blade Turbine Impeller: Recommended for high
shear mixing and gas dispersion applications.
